We have a Customer Trust team that is focused on advancing this commitment and raising the bar on our advertising products and services through privacy, compliance, security, malvertising prevention, and ad quality. We are looking for a seasoned leader to help us further engage with the appropriate external stakeholders.

Key job responsibilities

The Role

  • Contribute to and advance Amazon’s safe advertising initiatives including in the areas of data privacy and security via engagement with industry groups.
  • Serve as a major player in key program developments, including communicating industry initiatives, and working with external partners.
  • Quickly learn and communicate customer trust responsibility scope/needs of business partners, company leadership, and key stakeholders (Business Leaders, Legal, PR, Public Policy) and drive insightful discussions.
  • Ensure goal alignment across stakeholder groups which may include customers, internal teams, and external groups.
  • Influence and collaborate with cross-functional internal and external stakeholders, while driving change management practices through effective communication.
  • Drive innovative solutions to challenging advertising problems with a well-reasoned and customer-obsessed vision, roadmap, and prioritization.
  • Create and deliver communication tailored to the audience

About You

  • Above all, you feel strongly about building and preserving customer trust.
  • You have experience working proactively with industry groups, customers, and regulatory bodies.
  • You are an excellent translator between various part of the business and external stakeholders.
  • You work well in ambiguous situations and are able to formulate direction and lead internal Advertising resources, external partners and customers through the engagement lifecycle.
  • You are a strategic thinker who can demonstrate understanding of requirements, foresee risks, make decisions guided by policies, procedures, customer needs, and business plan with limited guidance.

Basic Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Significant experience managing cross functional projects and teams
  • Experience working with and managing relationships with external and multi-stakeholder groups
  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication as well as influencing and negotiation skills
  • Ability to propose customer-focused complex solutions and explanations in writing through creative thinking and problem solving

  • Relentlessly high standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop relationships with all levels of stakeholders.
  • Excellent presenter and communicator in both oral and written form in one-to-one and one-to-many forums.
  • Experience presenting to C-level executives as well as to technical subject matter experts.
  • Ability to collaborate with internal and external teams to define requirements and apply strategic thinking.
  • Experience engaging proactively with industry groups.
