Job Summary

DESCRIPTION

Our vision is to make Amazon the best place for third party Selling Partners of all sizes to grow and serve customers, leveraging world-class tools and services. The Amazon New Seller Recruitment (NSR) team is seeking a New Account Manager who is self-motivated, results-driven and capable of working in a dynamic fast paced 360 sales cycle environment.

In this role, you will identify high sales potential Selling Partners to enrol on Amazon, building your own pipeline through resources such as LinkedIn, Instagram and Google.

Once you have identified new Selling Partner opportunities, you will build relationships with key decision-makers within those prospective businesses to present a compelling business case for launching on Amazon that meets and exceeds our Selling Partners requirements.

After launching these Partners on Amazon, you will be their their Account Manager for the year, building long term strategic partnerships for mutually beneficial sales growth. You will be pivotal in strategically growing our business across our Renewed, Brand Owners, Reseller, Holdout and Agencies Selling Partner portfolio.

Additionally, you will collaborate closely with internal Amazon stakeholders and cross-functional teams to develop materials to ensure high program adoption. To be successful in this role you will need to be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and motivated to meet and exceed challenging goals.

Key job responsibilities

  • Build your own pipeline of 100+ opportunities, identifying high sales potential Selling Partners through resources such as LinkedIn, Instagram and Google
  • Adept at building relationships with Director level key decision makers, developing a clear understanding of our Selling Partners and their needs, articulating compelling rationale for why Partners should launch on Amazon
  • Account Manage all Selling Partners you launch on Amazon across our Renewed, Brand Owners, Reseller, Holdout and Agencies portfolio, building long term strategic partnerships for mutually beneficial sales growth
  • Represent the New Seller Recruitment Team (NSR) at external events, such as tradeshows internationally
  • Understand and utilize CRM tools such as Salesforce.com to track pertinent account information and sales progress as well as forecast and prioritize to meet or exceed quarterly enrolment targets
  • Comfortable at manage numerous business opportunities concurrently

A day in the life

You will be adept at managing multiple business opportunities concurrently. review your sales pipeline daily, be comfortable at managing senior external stakeholders – Director level and above, every day. You enjoy the challenge of building compelling business rationale for launching on Amazon, in a consultative engaging manner.

Basic Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
  • Interest in prospecting, qualifying, and being the first point of contact with Selling Partners
  • Demonstrated success in exceeding targets using a consultative, solutions-focused approach
  • Interest in sales and stakeholders management
  • Proven ability to successfully influence at all levels within an organization
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities
  • Always does what is right for the customer—relentlessly customer-focused
