Job Description:
Asda are recruiting for a second line Service Desk Analyst to be based in Asda House in Leeds. The Service Desk Analyst will provide the support necessary to enable our Infrastructure solutions to run optimally through the prevention or timely resolution of incidents as well as other routine activities designed to ensure that our infrastructure operates in line with SLA’s.
Job Responsibilities:
- Resolve incidents as quickly as possible to minimise customer impact, escalating wherever necessary
- Build effective working relationships across the wider Business & Service function
- Providing a first-time fix through efficient and consistent service
- Respond to alerts & events to prevent or minimise downtime
- Propose developments within your area that lower operating costs or increase efficiency without compromising quality
- Manage systems in line with the Asda Security policy

Qualification & Experience:
- Capable of managing own workload with minimal supervision
- Logical and methodical approach to problem solving
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to deliver to tight deadlines
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Willingness to understand and learn in an expanding team
- Windows, Linux, and VMware knowledge/experience are desirable, but not essential
