Transaction Reporting Technical Analyst


As a Barclays Transaction Reporting Technical Analyst, you will be part of a newly created Transaction Reporting Team, designed to ensure control and structure to the way in which Barclays report on Transactions and provide an enduring Technology support model to the Wealth and Private Banking Business. Your role will provide the Business with key contact point for Technology based, exception resolution.

Hybrid Working

We are currently operating in a hybrid working environment, meaning that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. Please discuss the detail of the working pattern options for the role with the hiring manager.

What will you be doing?

  • Managing the MiFID II TR tracker for monitoring any identified issues/tickets raised
  • Addressing New Demand Ticket/Incidents
  • Carrying out technical analysis of Open issues / Actions
  • SME input to Impact assessments for Change-led activities with possible reporting repercussions
  • Commissioning and tracking of any technical changes to resolve identified technical issues linked to Transaction Reporting
  • Analysis on Replay/Resubmission activities and execution for large volumes of Trades exceeding BAU operational capabilities

What We’re Looking For

  • Excellent analytical skills – Ability to analyze complex problems and thinking logically
  • Ability to source, query, and work with large amounts of data
  • Demonstrable co-ordination skills, to work in a small team in a technical and complex regulated function
  • Broad knowledge of FCA regulations and the regulatory environment, ideally within Transaction Reporting

Skills That Will Help You In The Role

  • Ability to work accurately to tight deadlines, processing complex information
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills aligned with good networking skills to build strong relationships
  • Broad understanding of a wealth management and investment banking operational environment
  • You have a background in regulatory or financial reporting and/or operational investment experience/knowledge
