As a Barclays Regulatory Business Analyst, this is an exciting opportunity where you will be joining Group Chief Executive team within Chief Operating Office Business Area. You will be instrumental in implementing a diverse range of clients through an international network of specialists, located across the globe. We are currently in the early stages of implementing a hybrid working environment, which means that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. We’re flexible on how this works and it may continue to change and evolve. Depending on your team, typically this means that colleagues spend a minimum of between 20% to 60% of their time in the office, which could be over a week, a month or a quarter. However, some colleagues may choose to spend more time in the office over a typical period than their role type requires. We also have a flexible working process where, subject to business needs, all colleagues globally are able to request work patterns to reflect their personal circumstances

What will you be doing?

  • Working within a team that is focused on delivering the new Consumer Duty regulation across the Private Bank
  • Being proactive in engaging & managing other stakeholders along the journey e.g., Legal, Compliance, Product, Front Office etc. to ensure they are supporting the programme
  • Taking lead on completing impact assessments and developing business requirements
  • Managing risks and issues associated with the area that you are responsible for delivering
  • Taking an active role in shaping how the Private Bank can ensure that best outcome for our clients, through developing new controls and management information
  • Driving and Encouraging improvement mind-set, with a can-do attitude and keen to try new ideas
  • Ensuring the right solution is in place for the Private Bank as required
  • Ensuring that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in Financial Services Specifically Private Baking (Credit & Lending, Banking, or Investment’s products)
  • Exposure to regulatory, technology change or working in a transformation/change team
  • Experience of working in an agile project team with Barclays relevant experience of the tools used to provide this, for example, Confluence and Agile Central
  • Training or qualifications in Agile Business Analysis

Skills That Will Help You In The Role

  • Demonstrable experience in a Business Analyst or Regulatory Analyst role with solid evidence of applying analysis techniques that shapes strategy and change
  • Experience in modelling business processes using a variety of tools and techniques
  • Solid situational analysis and decision-making abilities
  • Solid evidence of being a team player able to work effectively at all levels of an organisation with the ability to communicate and influence
