Hybrid Project Manager – Business Analyst

As a Barclays Hybrid Project Manager – Business Analyst you will be joining the Barclays Corporate Secretariat team within the Group Functions technology area. You will be instrumental in implementing and managing the multiple project deliveries under the current Corporate Secretariat area of work. You will be responsible for managing the deliveries and team in Glasgow directly and managing the team in Pune indirectly for delivering to the business needs of Corporate Secretariat business team.

What will you be doing?

  • Delivering for the Barclays Corporate Secretariat Technology work streams
  • Managing tech deliveries, vulnerabilities, infrastructure, engineering excellence metrics, project governance
  • Facilitating, structuring and managing day to day engagement with the Stakeholders team using Agile Framework
  • Contributing to the definition of development standards, patterns and techniques
  • Participate in code reviews and providing mentorship to other colleague developers
  • Managing Barclays Corporate Secritariat Technology Programme Cost
  • Translating high level solutions into high quality technical artefacts
  • Delivering strategic objectives within the constraints of a regulatory environment

What We’re Looking For

  • Working closely with global development team members in other regions
  • Communicating effectively with the other external IT development teams
  • Managing & Escalating project risks to the Project Manager / Global Leads
  • Ability to work independently and proactively

Skills That Will Help You In The Role

  • Working with Business Analysts and Team Leads to understand the functional scope of project work
  • Drafting initial design proposals for reviews by team leads and architects
  • Liaising with the Design authority and IT teams in other regions to ensure that all new components fit within guiding principles
  • Following good processes and practices, as defined by the team standards
