Band PO5: £42,614 – £45,648 pa pay award pending (Pro rata for Part Time Posts)

Based at Argus Chambers within Bradford City Centre, although the role is suitable for hybrid working and candidates will be able to predominantly work from home, it will be common for site visits to be carried out.

An opportunity has arisen for a senior project manager in the Strategic Asset Management service in the Department of Corporate Resources. The successful candidate will form part of the service’s management team and have responsibility for managing a series of property related capital projects, management of the Council’s programme of office and premises relocation projects, providing advice and support upon the management and running of the Council’s operational portfolio and will be expected to contribute to the service’s other work streams including, strategy development, community asset transfers and facilities management. Of particular importance at the moment will be managing the occupation of the ciy centre office accommodation following the introduction of hybrid working.

Applicants must have three years’ experience at a senior level working in a project or estate management role, experience of managing cross-disciplinary project teams in a capital project environment and experience of line management of a small team. A bachelors degree in estate management or project management or evidence of equivalent experience in an estate management or project management role is required, along with APM PMQ, PRINCE II or an equivalent project management qualification is required.

The senior project manager post has line management responsibility for two project coordinators and candidates will need to demonstrate the following competencies:
