Permanent Part-time worker (30 hours per week) This will equate to 3 nights per week

Join our team in our Disabled Childrens Home.

The role will be to support the care and development of 2-3 looked after disabled children/young people in a homely environment alongside a staff team to cover all hours.

During your shift you will be expected to support the up keep of the home, complete some administrative tasks, as well as be available to the children/young people should they wake.

Under the general supervision of the Senior Residential Child Care Workers and within the framework of current legislation, you will share overall responsibility for the efficient running of the Residential home, ensuring high quality residential services for disabled children within the overall policy of the Department.

Bristol is expanding its services to meet the needs of its residents, providing a home to children in need of the support and care.

The current plan is for the role to remain located in the current setting, alongside our Short Breaks service, for the next 12-18 months. Following this it is anticipated that the role will move into its new purposely designed location (Lawrence Weston).

You must be willing and available to participate in a rota pattern. This includes bank holidays and weekends.
