Guide Trust Verify (GTV) is a strategic iecurity Initiative, where we empower the wider business to design security in to what they design and build in alignment with guidance set by Cyber Information Security.

The GTV Transformation role is accountable for successfully driving through GTV across BT Group, including the development, management, capture, sharing and accessibility of GTV assets, engaging the wider organisation at senior director levels to establish relationships and buy-in for GTV adoption along with the consultancy engagement leadThis team brings together, enhances and energises the many activities which impact our future security strategy, nurturing a common transformational vision across the company.

What I’ll Be Doing – Your Accountabilities

  • Accountable for creation and delivery of the overall transformation plan to realise successful adoption of GTV across BT Group
  • Accountable for evangelising GTV across the business, establishing the right stakeholder relationship and gaining buy in for adoption of GTV pan BT.
  • Accountable for the GTV transformation teams generation of all GTV collateral and the efficient and effective running of knowledge management and cascade through GTV into the wider organisation
  • Accountable for reporting on progress of GTV and timely escalation of issues around adoption with required support to address.
  • Accountable for maintaining knowledge and understanding of current drivers, approaches, solutions and trends in the wider external cybersecurity ecosystem, ensuring that external knowledge is fed into and widely distributed via, the Guild, CIS and business units
  • You will use multiple approaches and tools to enable collaboration, and communicate the resulting strategy to people in ways that fit their world views, ways which range from compelling visions to solid, unambiguous data.
  • You will be driving change at pace, continually asking ‘why?’ and ‘how?’ and using the answers to accelerate our progress
  • You will identify strategic gaps and work with the business to get them resolved by the right people, without losing your own wider view and responsibilities.
  • You will work to remove blockers and break down barriers where-ever you encounter them, taking ownership as necessary to ensure timely resolution

Skills Required For The Job

  • Business acumen: Knowledgeable in business strategy and the drivers of organisational performance, including people drivers of performance and financial literacy (e.g. business KPIs, business cases)
  • Stakeholder management: able to communicate complex plans and strategies at the right level to get support and commitment from a wide range of different stakeholders
  • Transformational leadership: able to set a vision, inspire, bring new stimulation, challenge status quo, support and recognise teams as the transformation delivers
  • Able to work collaboratively across various areas of the business to meet strategic security objectives
  • Track record of expertise in Agile Security
