About This Role

This role acts as an interface linking our HR Teams by coordinating key people change or programme led activity , they will act as the front door for all HRBP requests to provide updates for our specific client areas either to our PMO or central change teams .They will also coordinate central people resourcing plans for Chief engineer and Central function areas, working closely with both operational leaders and HRBPs, providing a consolidated overview of medium/long term forecasting and planning, including owning recruitment requests and coordinating sign off.

The role also leans into HR Project reporting ( PMO) and planning working across the HR and Change Teams to provide accurate ongoing updates on behalf of the HRD and team.

Location – Sovereign Street, Leeds

You’ll Have The Following Responsibilities

  • Responsibility for owning the CE/CF people plan design and developing and maintaining robust tracking and governance documentation
  • Co-ordinate regular reporting against key HR priorities and programmes
  • Will co -ordinate all people led requests into HRBPs and act as the single point of contact for collating and distributing information
  • Coordinate the people content on behalf of the HRD for specific operational led reviews including MD team meetings and people agendas, CWU/Prospect .
  • Maintaining a calendar of events that allows the CE HR team to clear see activities that they are required to support and complete
  • Coordinate the programme plans for work streams ensuring that key tasks are delivered on time and on budget supporting the deployment of initiatives by the Chief Engineer HR team into the business.
  • Liaising with the CE /CF comms lead to promote CE/CF activities and or achievements as appropriate
  • Opportunity to build business partnering skills.

You’ll Have The Following Skills And Experience

  • Excellent organisational and planning skills – Previous proven experience of coordinating business activity in a fast paced arena and able to think on their feet to mitigate any issues
  • Stakeholder management – Proven track record of building very strong relationships, and evidence of senior stakeholder management
  • Relationship building essential for effectively partnering HRBPs and wider HR stakeholders to form trusted working relationships.
  • Presentation skills essential to create simplified messaging and meaningful presentations to convey difficult messages or complex information to gain buy in and support from all levels within the business unit.
  • Commercial acumen to understand the broader business context impacting delivery of HR strategy and people plan.
  • Understanding of business drivers essential to hold awareness of how other influencing components of the organisation can impact delivery of our HR strategy.
