Cardiff Hubs & Library service are offering an exciting opportunity to a positive and proactive qualified Librarian with a can-do attitude to support the delivery of high quality digital, specialist and branch library services.
About the job
The successful applicant will manage and coordinate a professional face-to-face service, including responsibilities for building management.
You will have experience of innovative Event programming (including digital) and face to face delivery to diverse audiences.
You will also be proactive in supporting the roll out of Library & research skills to Hubs & Library staff within Cardiff.

The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic and skilled networker who demonstrates total commitment to the delivery of quality customer focused services, promotions and activities.
You will have experience of supervising or managing staff, mentoring, coaching and resolving enquiries that are more complex.
This post is based in Cathays Branch & Heritage Library, Fairoak Road, Cathays

The ability to speak other languages, in particular Welsh, Somali, Arabic or Polish would be an advantage.
Weekend and evening working will be required on a rota basis and location of work may vary.
