An exciting opportunity has arisen for committed individual with excellent customer service skills to join our Housing Solutions team, based in Hubs across the city.


About the job

The Senior Hub Officer will be responsible for: Supporting customers within the Hubs to resolve advice enquiries, provide customer focus delivery of Hub & Library services and information provision. To act as a mentor and provide support to other officers.


What We Are Looking For From You

You will require expert knowledge on Housing including the new allocation policy and the options available to help those affected

You will also have expert knowledge on the Housing Benefit & the Council Tax Reduction scheme.

You will have experience of providing excellent customer service, work well in a team and have a flexible approach. You will have exceptional communication and IT skills and the ability to resolve disputes in a positive and constructive manner.

The ability to speak other languages, in particular Welsh, Somali, Arabic or Polish would be an advantage.

This post is temporary until 31/03/2023.
