Service Analyst – Service Transition
£30,000 – £35,000 plus excellent benefits, including up to 10% employer pension contribution and health & wellbeing rewards through the YuLife app (Work Level 6A)
Manchester city centre
This is a remote first role. There may be a need for you to come into the Manchester office once or twice a month to connect with the team. Those living close to Manchester will also have the option to work in the office if desired.

We’re looking for a service analyst to join us and support Co-op Digital, Tech & Data to implement and embed new technologies and services, so we can ensure we have fully operational and effective services to deliver the best outcomes for the business. This is a really exciting time for our organisation as we transform Co-op into a truly digital-first workplace. And you’ll play a key part in this.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for the operation and management of the delivery of service outcomes. You’ll collaborate across internal and external suppliers to make sure we’re getting the best value and performance from our services and that they’re aligned to our business goals and overall strategy. if you’ve got significant experience and knowledge of IT service, as well as excellent relationship-building and communication skills, then we can offer you the opportunity to grow your career and shape the future of Digital, Tech & Data at Co-op.

What you’ll do

  • work with Co-op Digital, Tech & Data functions and where required, the supplier eco-system, to build and run effective and efficient processes that drive optimisation and create maximum value for the business
  • understand future needs, changes to existing systems and implement service management capabilities based on business requirements
  • create business aligned service management capabilities that align process and tools
  • ensure that any service management related incidents and problems are fully addressed in line with service levels
  • collaborate with projects and programmes to ensure new Co-op Digital, Tech & Data services meet agreed acceptance into service criteria
  • manage of service management risks in line with the risk management framework.
  • provide subject matter expertise and be a key point of contact for provision of service management area of specialism
  • analyse any process or technical issues, monitor and take corrective action on services as per documented operational procedures
  • promote, seek opportunities for, and deliver continual service improvement


This role would suit people who have

  • a demonstrable track record of IT service delivery and experience relevant to the role
  • experience working in a multi-sourced environment, understanding how to drive process and/or technical service outcomes across a disparate supplier eco-system
  • experience working with suppliers/vendors to support delivery of outcomes to contract
  • knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • confident managing business partners at all levels both internally and externally
  • excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, communicating clearly and concisely
  • proven track record of service delivery and experience relevant to the role
