We’re looking for a PMO analyst to join our Transformation team to support the delivery of some exciting programmes and projects. Our Delivery PMO team provide a support service to Co-op’s portfolio, programme, and project teams to support them with embedding the key controls of our delivery framework. In this role you’ll be allocated to a Programme of change and will work closely with other change professionals within our wider community of practice. You’ll provide PMO expertise across our Programme Portfolio – focusing on planning (including change control and dependency management), risk & issue management and reporting & assurance. If you’ve got the delivery and analytical experience we need, we can offer you a really varied role with exposure to lots of different areas in the business including Food, Life Services, Technology and much more.

What you’ll do

  • support the co-ordination of programme governance forums and cadence of reporting
  • manage assurance across allocated project / programme
  • ensure the effective running of the risk management process for delivery including analysis of risks and issues in order to provide a suitable mitigating action plan across your allocated assignment
  • maintain and track progress against project / programme milestone plan and critical path analysis, helping to identify potential issues and support their corrective actions and stage gate management
  • assist in the progress of change requests through agreed process to approval with the opportunity to continuously improve such processes
  • champion internal PMO standards, making sure the standard Co-op delivery framework has been applied in a consistent way and ensuring controls are adhered to
  • perform portfolio, programme, and project administration, including meeting preparation, co-ordination and minute-taking
  • assist in the identification, planning, tracking, and reporting of benefits
  • contribute to the continued development of portfolio, programme, and project management frameworks, tools, and processes

This role would suit people who have

  • previous experience working in a portfolio / programme / PMO role
  • a good understanding of project management and PMO
  • the ability to interpret data and present it in an easy-to-understand format
  • excellent analytical skills
  • strong Microsoft Excel skills, minimum intermediate level
  • excellent relationship building skills, with the ability to influence and challenge colleagues across all levels of the business
  • the ability to identify opportunities for improvement and make suggestions where possible
