We’re looking for a Dynamics 365 finance & operations consultant to join our tech team here at Co-op. You’ll be responsible for supporting our Funeralcare business users as a functional consultant with our transformation programme where we’re migrating from Dynamics Great plains to Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations. We’re going through a period of huge technology and business transformation at Co-op, making our organisation a truly digital-first workplace, investing in our IT function, and working in a more agile way. The technology that you’ll be supporting will be fundamental to helping us achieve our business objectives over the next four years.
In the role, we’ll look to you to provide design and subject matter expertise on Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations. You’ll be part of our core team, initially working with our strategic partners and business users to ensure the solution delivered aligns to our business requirements. You’ll then move on to support the business as a first point of contact for any enhancements and configuration changes within the continuous delivery workstream. You’ll also help interpret the business’ requirements, collaborate with other technology functions to propose the best solution, and see this through from implementation to operations. If you’ve got experience in an IT support or functional consultant role, with MS Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations expertise, then we can offer you an opportunity to play a key part in our technology transformation journey.
What you’ll do
- provide expert knowledge and advice on the Microsoft Dynamics product suite, in particular Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations
- work with our business users to turn requirements into solutions that provide an excellent experience for our members and customers
- collaborate with suppliers to build solutions into a continuous delivery stream
- adopt agile methodology, continuously looking for opportunities to improve the service always looking for opportunities to deliver best value
This role would suit people who have
- functional knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations
- significant experience as an MS Dynamics 365 consultant
- migration experience from Dynamics Great Plains / CRM into Finance & Operations
- completed at least one full lifecycle
- the ability to configure and map requirements in Dynamics 365 features
- the ability to conduct requirements discussions with end customers
- working knowledge of Dynamics Great Plains and/ or Dynamics CRM
- great communication skills and a focus on the end-user experience
- an enthusiasm for technology and new technology products
