We have a new and exciting opportunity for a social work manager to lead a new and innovative team working directly alongside CAMHS colleagues to implement and develop the new Multi Agency Rapid Response Service which will provide integrated care to support children and young people who experience mental health crisis and social care crisis across Cornwall. The team will provide a new, integrated pathway that will offer support and treatment for families in a joined up way.
As Team Manager, you will bring your substantive experience in statutory social work with children and families. You will support a new multi agency team comprising of two social workers, two targeted Youth workers and two family workers that will work directly with CAMHS across the county. This will ensure a seamless, integrated, innovative and holistic approach to crisis care, supporting families to bring about positive change. You will support the team to prevent admission to acute settings or specialist care by providing intensive support within the home and ensure that the team supporting young people and their families on their journey of recovery, putting the young person and their family at the centre of their work.
You will ensure that the team are accountable for their work and are effective in delivering positive outcome for children and families. As part of Gweres Tus Yowynk Cornwall’s Specialist Adolescent Team (incorporating CIoS Youth Justice Service) you will be part of an established and experienced management team. This is an opportunity to take a lead role in shaping the new Multi Agency Rapid Response Service and achieving better outcomes for children and families.
