Deloitte Risk Advisory offers a wide array of services designed to understand IT and business risks, determine acceptable exposure levels, implement controls, and provide follow-up and constant monitoring in the risk and regulatory environment.

About The Team

The Risk Advisory Technology Assurance team offers a variety of risk and control services related to IT. We partner with clients in both an assurance and advisory capacity. The team are based across our Dublin, Cork, Galway, Limerick and Belfast offices.

The Opportunity

Deloitte has an excellent career opportunity for an IT Internal Auditor at a ‘Consultant’ or ‘Senior Consultant’ grade to work in the Risk Advisory department. You will be provided with the opportunity for personal development and on-going training towards completion of a relevant qualification.

Working as an IT Internal Auditor you will be involved in internal IT audits, IT specialist/ best practice reviews and IT advisory engagements. This covers but not limited to assessing complex IT environments; third party risks, cloud environments, business continuity, disaster recovery and data management.

About You

• Proven audit and project management experience within an Internal Audit function and/or as part of an accounting/consulting firm
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report positioning and clarity
• Knowledge of external leading risk and controls frameworks such as NIST Cybersecurity, COBIT (Control Objectives for Information and related Technology) ISO 27001, ITIL, and IT related internal controls frameworks
• Knowledge of auditing cloud environments (e.g. AWS, Microsoft Azure)
• Experience in auditing a wide mix of areas including operational resilience, disaster recovery, business continuity, IT Strategy, IT Governance and IT project management.
• Fundamental understanding of concepts related to information systems audit, information security, general IT controls, application controls and technology risks
• Attention to detail, including ability to issue-spot, identify patterns.
• Ability to manage a number of projects, meet deadlines and manage stakeholder expectations
• Ability to discuss complex issues and influence perspectives
• Professional certification such as CISSP, CISA, CRISC or CIA
• A BS/BA degree, preferably in information systems, computer science, engineering or other related IT field.
