Job Description:

The team will be re-procuring many of its contracts within the next three years. The successful candidate will therefore be working on procurements on an end-to-end basis and/or responsible for contract management and change procedures depending on the stage in the contract lifecycle for each requirement.

Job Responsibilities:

  •  Be an active participant in the management of the commercial pipeline. Identify and take ownership of re-procurement opportunities delivering full end to end process, working with stakeholders to develop specifications, write ITTs and take requirements through governance to eventual contract award.

     

  •  Provision of contract administration support to the Supply Chain Managers and the broader DWP Estates function. Providing a route for escalation for non-compliance or disputes, contract amendments (scope), renewals/extensions and develop formal “contract notices”.

     

  • Provide commercial support and guidance to Estates Supply Chain Management team and broader stakeholders, to support day-to-day and ongoing supplier performance management, where appropriate, take lead in managing commercial and legal aspects.
