Enfield Youth Offending Service are advertising for a Business Operations Support Officer to join our team and help us continue to deliver excellent, high-quality innovative work. Job Responsibilities:

  • This will Included but not limited to data entry and analysis, record keeping, internal and external customer care focus, reception, setting up meetings, taking minutes and using case management system, liaison with other Council departments and other organisations.
  • Proactively develop skills, understanding and abilities in delivering support services in order to carry out standardised processes in a consistent and efficient manner
  • Be able to provide a high level of business support service across the designated service area and are able to follow standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure that the required business support is provided to the highest standard in line with service requirements and will undertake business support function themselves alongside of supporting the other two business support roles.
  • The post holder will actively champion continuous improvement and the implementation of automation and efficient ways of working.
  • The role will also require the applicant to be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications Excel, Word and PowerPoint being especially important.
  • Be responsible for delivering a high standard of service in line with the requirements of the service, which ensures effective operation of the services.
  • Deal professionally and effectively with all contacts from a wide range of people, using tact and discretion, assessing needs and re-directing enquiries, where appropriate.
  • Ensure that all business support tasks are carried out in the most effective, efficient and highly professional way in line with Council’s behaviours, ensuring all activities add value.
  • Be the first point of contact for problem resolution within business support activities for the designated service area and when necessary seek assistance from responsible manager
