People & Culture Manager – BUILDHOLLYWOOD

We are creating a new opportunity for an experienced People & Culture Manager to join our BUILDHOLLYWOOD team.

This is a new role and the perfect opportunity to make your mark on the people and culture at BUILDHOLLYWOOD

Working closely with the Managing Director to help define, shape, and maintain our values, culture and policies as well as keeping the team happy, learning and engaged.

  • Assist the Managing Director in the recruitment process
  • Work closely with the Managing Director on creating strong employee brand values, and instilling the company ethos and culture in all teams
  • Keep all policies and procedures accurate and up to date with support from the HR helpline
  • Help us to do everything we possibly can to be inclusive and create policy to support this
  • Be the go-to person for all people related enquiries
  • Be responsible for developing strong company employee communications and engagement
  • Identify training and development needs, and help put programmes in place
  • Create and implement an employee review structure
  • Develop and implement our health and wellbeing programmes
  • Oversee the flexible working schemes, refining where necessary
  • Develop and implement reward and recognition schemes
  • Ensure training is up to date for first-aiders, mental health first-aiders and fire marshals
  • Help implement and monitor the company behaviour guidelines
  • Coordinate the overtime system
  • Oversee the People HR system, ensuring it’s up to date and that staff are engaged
  • Run the holiday approvals system and ensure there are no pinch points in teams
  • Organise onboarding and offboarding for all staff
  • Implement and refine our company inductions for new starters


  • Ideally have experience in a similar role
  • Be creative and passionate about people and wellbeing
  • Organised and able to balance the day to day with larger strategic projects
  • Ready to immerse yourself in our people and our growth
