PO5: £46,392 pa rising in annual increments to £49,428 pa incl. LW,

Enhanced salary of 20% for out of hours and AMHP allowance £3,000 plus £1,000 welcome payment, payable as a Lump Sum upon completion of 6 Months’ Probation.

Fixed Term/Secondment (2 Years)

The post holder will carry out adult’s and children’s safeguarding enquiries, support the work of others involved in these enquiries, and to support people with care and support needs to develop and put into action safeguarding plans appropriate to their wishes and circumstances.

We are looking for an Advanced Practitioners who is an Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) with extensive experience of working with children, adult’s and families, supported with a wide knowledge of children and adult legislation and statutory requirements, which will also include child protection and mental health.

The post is situated in the out of hours Emergency Duty Team.

You are recognised for your expertise and excellence, providing leadership, supervision, evidence and professional wisdom to colleagues and other professionals.

You are able to work autonomously and in situations of very high complexity and contribute to knowledge in their field of practice, and make use of sophisticated, critical reasoning. You both model and facilitate reflective practice and the learning of others.

You are able to provide constructive challenge to others at all levels in the organisation to enhance practice, procedures and policies, promote innovation and evidence-informed practice, and introduce improved ways of working into their work settings (e.g. knowledge transfer from other sites of excellence).

You can draw on highly skilled practice, contemporary research practice and best educational practice.
