Summary

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Commercial Group within HM Land Registry as a Procurement Manager. You will get to provide integral support to ensure that HMLR have the right level of capability and assurance across the commercial lifecycle. This will involve supporting application of procurement and contract management policy and guidance, Management Information systems and commercial governance processes. You will also work closely with other commercial teams and contract managers, and have interaction with Senior Responsible Owners and other Government Departments.

Job description

As a procurement manager you will support application of procurement and contract management policies, procedures and practices through development, production and maintenance of the materials, tools, guidance, processes, and systems that support end-to-end delivery. You will work effectively with internal and external stakeholders and maintain appropriate commercial governance mechanisms (including all relevant Spend Controls).

You will be able to produce and maintain management information and reporting, drawing on relevant data sources, to provide insightful and accurate commercial data to different audiences at scheduled frequencies and also be able to provide market and benchmarking information and tools to enable analysis to support evidence-based decision making and articulate key risks.

Responsibilities

To meet the requirements of this role, you will be highly proficient in MS Excel and Data Export.

You will have commercial acumen gained in a commercial environment, and experience of producing high quality and, practical procurement and contract management related advice and guidance (policies, procedures, templates & training materials). You will have experience of producing high quality management information and reports with relevant analysis to a planned timetable, along with the ability to build collaborative relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

National: £34,854

Croydon: £38,409
