Here at HM Land Registry, we are looking to appoint 4 Project Managers, within our Transformation directorate. You will join us on a full-time basis and in return,you will receive a competitive salary of £38,552 per annum (Croydon £42,099 per annum).

The Project Manager is responsible for overall delivery of often complex projects ensuring their outputs are on time, on budget and of the required quality.

Responsibilities As Our Project Manager

  • Accountable and responsible for delivery of a range of projects within HM Land Registry’s Transformation Portfolio
  • Responsible for the planning, design, governance and delivery of the Project(s), including obtaining approval for the project
  • Responsible for managing project delivery against plans, costs and benefits, and including dependency management, risk and issues management and resources
  • Work with the Programme Manager, Benefits Manager and Benefits Owners to agree benefits profiles and realisation plans
  • Work with the Project SRO, Programme Manager and other interested parties on the transition of Project products and services to a ‘business as usual’ position
  • Management of third party contributions and stakeholder management including communication at Project level

What We Are Looking For In Our Project Manager

  • A proven track record of delivering transformational change projects OR business delivery
  • Able to demonstrate the difference that you have personally made in making the delivery a success
  • Experience of ensuring delivery was appropriately resourced and paced and can evidence how you reported into relevant management/governance structures
  • Understanding of delivering projects using appropriate methodology
  • Undertaken detailed planning activity that has been documented effectively this for the purposes of tracking progress
  • Identification and management of key stakeholders, accurately assessing their role and influence in the work
  • Can evidence how budgets were clearly defined and accurately monitored
  • Experience of working with 3rd party suppliers
  • Able to prioritise multiple demands and tasks and respond quickly to changing circumstances
  • Is extremely organised and an energetic self starter with great drive and determination to make things happen
  • Able to work effectively with your colleagues to overcome challenges
  • Gain the confidence and influence of senior leaders when required, including producing clear information to present to inform decision making
  • Understand the wider organisational context in which you are operating and enable the experts around you to find the best solutions
