An exciting opportunity has become available in the Flood Risk Management team at Hull City Council to support delivery of the Living with Water Blue Green vision.

The Living with Water Community Co-ordinator role is a 2 year fixed term role or secondment to support the delivery of a 5 year capital programme of works and to create new ways of working for a longer term Blue Green 25 year strategy. The role involves working with stakeholders and community groups to align visions and objectives in creating a resilient city where people are able to adapt to the changing pressures of climate change.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, organised and task focused individual who has experience of working with communities to deliver projects and strategies. The individual should have a high level of self-motivation with the ability to organise and plan their own workload and work across the LWW partnership. Experience in the flood and drainage sector would be ideal but not essential.
