About the team

The marketing team are responsible for generating modern, fresh and culturally relevant omni channel marketing ideas. Bringing campaigns to life from conception to reality. Whether it be large scale global campaigns, the biggest celebrity collaborations or new store activations, the departments main priority is to create ideas through messaging, imagery and motion. We live and breathe our brand and commercial objectives by enticing, exciting and engaging our target consumer. We work on creative concepts for iconic calendar events such as Christmas, Summer, Back to School and beyond.

We’re looking for creative minded, delivery and performance focused individuals to join our inhouse team. You’ll be working with a team of talented brand, campaign and studio-based marketing experts. Working for JD across our brand portfolio including Nike, adidas, Puma, The North Face and Under Armour to name a few. This is an extremely exciting time to join our expanding inhouse marketing team.

About the role

Please note this role is a 12-month fixed term contract. The successful candidate to start ideally in October 2023.

This role will provide PA/administrative support to the Group Marketing Director. This will be an all-encompassing role and will suit someone who thrives in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. You will be a real team player where no jobs are too big or too small. This role will suit someone with transferable skills who is ready for the next step in their career, or someone with previous PA experience.

What you will be responsible for

  • Effective diary management, understanding high and low priorities, anticipating needs, and ensuring the most effective use of their time.
  • Ensure internal and external meetings are well prepared and organised. This will include agenda management, room bookings, offsite directions, pre readings, preparing papers for attendees, taking minutes and managing agreed actions
  • Research offsite and overseas trips, plotting routes and planning potential itineraries
  • Booking regular travel and accommodation; national & international; ensuring necessary COVID testing, vaccinations, visas and work permits are all in place for all appropriate trips
  • Collate and process credit card statements & receipts on the online portal
  • Collate and submit expenses and monthly mileage
  • Manage holiday approvals for senior management on the online portal
  • Assist with any personal tasks for the Group Marketing Director

What we are looking for

  • Strong communication skills both written and oral.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Macbook.
  • Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
  • Previous experience within a similar role.
  • Previous experience working with Directors/Senior Management is advantageous.
  • Willingness to make working relationships both internally as well as externally.
