Are you a mum living in Kirklees?

Can you spare three hours or more a week?

Why not join us as an Auntie Pam’s Peer Support Volunteer?

Auntie Pam’s Peer Support Volunteers are the first point of contact for parents-to-be, parents and families coming into our Auntie Pam’s Centres in Dewsbury and in Huddersfield. We offer a time rich service where one of the most important things a volunteer can do is listen.

Full training is provided to help you become a confident and skilled volunteer offering support and information, as well as using your valuable experiences as a parent. You won’t need formal qualifications to apply for our training programme, just a commitment to volunteer.

You’ll be working in a small team, supported by senior volunteers to develop and use your volunteering skills. After volunteering regularly with us for a while, if you want to, we can support you with learning and training opportunities for your own needs and ambitions as well as helping us to add to our delivery of first-class services for Auntie Pam’s.

To find out more, and to apply, please visit the Volunteering at Auntie Pam’s Website.
