Kirklees is on an ambitious journey, and we are looking for an experienced, dynamic, enthusiastic and high performing social work professional who has an excellent understanding of what best practice looks like and is passionate about improving outcomes for children and their families.

We are looking for a leader who can inspire and motivate their team to provide high quality services to our children and families. Working restoratively to build high quality relationships is at the heart of our approach. A creative and flexible approach to work and the drive and motivation to improve our services are key.

As a manager you will provide supervision and opportunities for reflection and analysis, as well as being responsible for the allocation of casework and actively managing caseloads so that our practitioners are able to do the quality child centred work that they need to. Within Family Support and Child Protection we want to make a positive difference to the lives of children and young people.

We have made significant progress in our journey to providing outstanding services to children and this was recognised in our most recent Ofsted visit in October 2021.
