Job Description:

Helping the most vulnerable people in our community get to where they need to be each day is what this role is about. Whether they are children with special educational needs or disabilities going to school or older people getting to see their friends at a day centre, that is what we do in the Travelcare service. If you are caring and reliable this could be the role for you.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Providing care duties associated with transport services.
  • Working as part of a team.
  • Travel in a private hire vehicle or taxi to assist in the transporting of passengers in a safe, caring manner
  • Ensuring that all communication issued by the service is followed and adhered to.
  • Completion of records as required.

Job Requirements:

  • If successful you will be required to apply to the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) for a ‘disclosure’.

  • This position is part time and term time only, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent, the salary received will be paid on a pro – rata basis
