Major Programmes and Projects (MPP) are the capital infrastructure delivery specialists in DIO. We are accountable and responsible for the delivery of capital infrastructure projects across the whole of Defence. Our projects are UK & Overseas based, ranging from runways to range refurbishments, to jetties to accommodation for US Forces. Our reach is unique, and no two days are the same.

MPP’s portfolio includes Major Programmes (over £1Bn); a considerable number of high profile, complex projects; and a significant number of relatively traditional projects within military bases and establishments in the UK and several overseas locations. We host 6 directorates: Army, Air, Navy, Defence Continuity Team (DCT), UK Strategic Command and the Portfolio Office. All are diverse and unique, delivering excellence to our customers and stakeholders.

We are excited to offer the opportunity for a Coordinator to join the Directors office to support and drive the delivery of essential activities. This key role will work closely with the Director of MPP, working towards delivering success to our customers, in the heart of the directorate. The successful candidate will be expected to travel with the Director of MPP to support the delivery of key goals and output.
