This is about providing invaluable support to your Director, managing the systems and processes in your area to keep things running smoothly.

As a Personal Assistant you will provide a comprehensive and professional support service to a Buying Director through managing the systems and processes in your area of responsibility. You will also play a key role in ensuring an efficient and cooperative working environment. This will involve day to day organisational work, as well as data processing and analysis.

Your New Role

  • Full diary management, including annual diary and deadline planning to support the Directors and team
  • Preparing and supporting meetings, including minute taking
  • Organising accommodation and travel
  • Supporting Directors with external stakeholders, Senior Management and visitors
  • Proofing and preparation of internal committee documentation
  • Invoice processing and monthly accruals
  • Monthly and ad-hoc financial reporting
  • Preparing department communications
  • Personnel Administration
  • Recruitment and new starter preparation
  • Management and administration of trademark registrations

About You

  • Educated to GCSE level or equivalent
  • Experience within a similar administration/office environment, in a Personal/Executive Assistant role
  • High levels of personal organisation
  • Solution focused
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Able to prioritise workload independently
  • Able to work individually and as part of a team with minimal supervision
  • Confident communicator
  • Experience of Microsoft Office packages including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience in managing multiple stakeholders (both internal and external)

What You’ll Get in Return

  • Salary: £33,035 rising to £38,580
  • 5-day/40-hour week, working Monday- Friday, with the opportunity for remote working 2 days per week.
