This is a rare opportunity to join a start-up business within Amazon Ads and play a strategic role in building the future of Non Endemic Growth business. This is a key role that would create a new business and revenue stream for Amazon Ads, reporting directly to the Country Head of Non Endemic Growth Business. This role will work across a variety of verticals, such as Travel, Hospitality, Services, Restaurants, Automotive, Retail, Financial Services, to sell solutions such as Streaming TV, DSP, Audio, and Twitch. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sourcing and activating net new business, developing relationships, and growing revenue. The role sits within the WW Emerging Business organization.

You will be joining a fast growing, quickly evolving organization, where the ability to wear many hats and help across projects will be crucial. You are expected to inspire, lead, think and act both strategically and tactically for your customers, using your strong business acumen and experience selling digital advertising solutions to help your partners grow and scale revenue. You enjoy solving complex problems, works effectively with cross-functional teams and thrives in a fast-paced setting that is constantly evolving.

Key job responsibilities

  • Deliver the highest level of sales and customer service to our clients.
  • Prospect and create new relationships with clients.
  • Drive deals to closure in a new business environment.
  • Retain and grow revenue from existing advertisers.
  • Leverage Amazon’s display, video and audio ad offerings to help build relevant solutions for our advertisers.
  • Utilize Sales CRM tools to track all pertinent account information and sales progress as well as forecast and prioritize to achieve quarterly quota goals.
  • Leverage an entrepreneurial mindset to solve complex problems, with solutions tailored for each customer and made as simple as possible.
  • Utilize customer input to drive innovation creating ease of execution for our partners by improving policies, process and products.
  • Identify mechanisms to evolve and simplify the team’s practices while ensuring customer short- and long-term expectations are met.
  • Work with marketing and product teams to develop non-endemic specific strategies and respective narratives for digital media advertising growth.
  • Take ownership of the pre and post-sale process ensuring we exceed customer expectations and deliver results.
  • Understand and learn about the e-commerce industry and competitive environment including knowledge of competitive product offerings.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience
  • Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or like program
  • Experience and demonstrated success prospecting net new business

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of of digital advertising sales or partnership development experience
  • Demonstrated ability to perform well in a highly dynamic, rapidly changing environment.
  • Experience selling digital or online media.
  • Programmatic and adtech experience
  • Entrepreneurial / builder mindset
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, as well as written and verbal communication
