The EU DSP Management team works with the various European countries to optimize our end-to-end relationships with the Delivery Service Providers (DSP’s), focusing on providing a best-in-class partnerships with our stakeholders across EU. We are looking for a Sr. DSP Insights Manager who is ready to roll up their sleeves and help us develop actionable, data-driven insights, using various quantitative tools and core project management skills.

Key job responsibilities

Core Responsibilities Include

  • Managing our organization’s AWS account, including a data warehouse in Redshift.
  • Owning reporting for strategic roadmaps by working with business leaders; driving expansion and optimization of new business units in our DSP program.
  • Developing performance dashboards with key metrics for review with senior leadership and business teams; synthesizing large quantities of data to help create new, step-change initiatives for the organization.
  • Using statistical techniques and tools for strategic deep dives; generating actionable insights and effectively communicating recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Inventing new ways to analyze data to identify the trends and gaps in the experience and services we provide to our delivery service partners.
  • Partnering with other data engineers and analysts to build and automate central tools that will improve the quality of reporting and analysis in the organization.
  • Partner with our global teams, align on reporting needs, setup, maintain and own data pipelines.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or similar focus.
  • Previous experience in BI, Business Engineering, Analytics, Data Science, Data Engineering, or comparable fields.
  • Advanced SQL proficiency – experience writing complex SQL statements and the ability to manipulate a massive amount of data.
  • Experience with data visualization software such as AWS QuickSight, Tableau, or Power BI.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially relating to quantitative topics discussed with non-technical colleagues.
  • Ability to influence multiple stakeholders across diverse functional areas to align roadmap and priorities.
  • Experience constructing or managing data pipelines, or knowledge of ETL processes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with AWS cloud products such as Redshift, S3, SageMaker, or Lambda.
  • AWS Cloud certification.
  • Experience with a modern programing language (e.g. Python, Ruby, etc.).
  • Professional experience in supply chain, logistics, parcel delivery, and/or e-commerce.
  • MS in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or related field.
  • Experience managing teams with 3+ members.
