Prime Video Channels & Sports European Finance team seeks a Finance Manager based in our Amazon office in Central London to support our Prime Video Live Sports business strategy, growth and performance in Europe. In doing so, you will partner with key stakeholders from Prime Video Finance, Sports Business Affairs, Marketing, Live Events organizations and Amazon Advertising worldwide.

Key job responsibilities

  • Providing financial and business analysis and recommendations to operating business partners, sometimes with limited or ambiguous information
  • Providing informed analysis, insight and recommendations around our business metrics to drive optimization and more effective decision making
  • Supporting internal customer groups in all finance matters including budgeting, forecasting, expense tracking and control
  • Preparing regular documentation for financial review meetings with key Prime Video and Finance stakeholders worldwide including analysis of business performance trends, return on investment financial modelling, reporting and short/long range planning.

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum of BA/BS Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or similar discipline with analytical bias
  • Relevant finance accounting qualification (e.g. ACA, CIMA, ACCA) or MBA
  • Working knowledge of SQL

Preferred Qualifications

  • Comfortable working in cross-functional teams and often in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and modeling skills; comfortable with manipulating large sets of data to derive business insights.
  • Strong communication and persuasion skills
  • Ability to autonomously run own projects and analysis, and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Great attention to detail, a passion for metrics and data, and the ability to dive deep, while also seeing and understanding the bigger commercial picture.
  • Ability to work successfully in an ambiguous information environment
