Job Summary

DESCRIPTION

Do you want to be a key part of a team focused on helping startups launch their innovative and sustainable products on Amazon? Amazon Launchpad is a unique programme showcasing cutting-edge and sustainable products from startups and entrepreneurs, making it easy for them to onboard, market, and launch new products to millions of our customers. We are looking for a smart, motivated, and highly analytical Marketing Manager to join and scale the Amazon Launchpad Europe team.

In this role, you will lead the development of smarter methods for startup acquisition and growth across multiple channels. You will create, own and implement a strategy to scale our presence, grow our inbound traffic and convert startups who can benefit from Amazon Launchpad support. Work is both strategic and tactical, you will measure performance across our portfolio of digital and offline marketing programs, championing best practices to identify and implement innovative new ways to improve the customer experience.

As an experienced, hands-on marketer that is both creative and analytical, you stay connected to the details, challenging assumptions and continually testing based on data-driven insights. In this role, you will employ a heavy bias towards automation, striving for scalable efficiency, whilst ensuring customer experience is of the highest quality.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is energized by a fast-paced and highly entrepreneurial environment. They will be highly organised, detail-oriented with a track record of rolling-up their sleeves, finding ways to work through barriers, influencing stakeholders and displaying excellent business judgement to deliver results. Although the Amazon Launchpad programme has been growing rapidly since its launch in July 2015, our team culture reflects that of one of our startup partners. As a result, while they should have a critical eye for detail, the right candidate will not be afraid of ambiguity or slowed by a lack of definition. “Wearing multiple hats” and building from scratch are commonplace for Amazon Launchpad team members.
