Job Summary

DESCRIPTION

Amazon Handmade is seeking a creative, customer obsessed and driven Marketing Manager to join our team based in London. This role is responsible for creating and executing customer-facing marketing campaigns and events across EU, driving internal and external traffic to our products, and mapping customer journeys that draw consumers through our purchase funnels.

Amazon Handmade is a fast growing Marketplace-only store where Makers and Artisans can grow their businesses by selling their handcrafted products. Our purpose is to be an authentic voice and thought leader within the creative, handcrafted community; a point of reference for Makers and of inspiration for all consumers.

The role will be responsible for leading the strategy for various Handmade Owned and Operated Channels and Social Media channels across EU5 – setting objectives, creating strategy, managing agencies and internal stakeholders, and delivering results – to drive top line business growth. The successful candidate is highly analytical, resourceful, customer focused, team oriented, and will have an ability to work independently under time constraints to meet deadlines. The candidate should have a proven track record for leading successful marketing programs across multiple touch points.

Key job responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Plan, own, and execute on customer marketing activations for Amazon Handmade
  • Write and localize marketing copy, work closely with design teams, build, launch and track campaigns, design A / B tests, measure results, and author reports to share with the broader organization
  • Partner with cross-category and cross-site teams, PR and Legal to implement consistent messaging and high ROI campaigns
  • Own campaigns marketing metrics (traffic, conversion) and measure the effectiveness of various marketing campaigns for reporting via weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing and several years of experience in digital marketing or publishing.
  • Experience in B2C marketing
  • Strong business judgment with a track record of creating and executing successful campaigns
  • High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
  • Relentless desire for innovation, balanced with business priorities
  • Experience building global marketing strategies and programs.
  • Proven track record of continually advocating on behalf of internal and external customers.
  • Experience in managing projects across multiple teams and functions e.g. tech, legal, finance, design and merchandising
  • Experience managing agencies, or agency experience, in particular in social media

Preferred Qualifications

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience leading successful integrated marketing plans
  • Experience building global marketing strategies and programs.
  • Proven track record of continually advocating on behalf of internal and external customers
  • Experience leading successful offline marketing programs or events
  • Advanced Excel and SQL
  • Working knowledge of HTML and Photoshop
