We are looking for a talented professional to help scale international selling for Sellers and Small to Medium businesses. The role is part of the EU Global Selling organization.

Key job responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop marketing strategies to drive adoption by EU Sellers for Amazon’s Global Selling program. You will grow traffic across free and paid channels, optimize existing campaigns/websites to drive quality conversions and improve Seller journey. You will work closely with multiple teams, such as Public Relations & Policy, other Marketing teams, and key business stakeholders.

This professional should also be an exceptional writer and creative leader who can break complex messages into interesting stories, and direct external agencies on content production. This is an individual contributor role – responsible for working cross-functionally to define the narrative and story of EU Global Selling and to easily communicate the complexity of global expansion to Sellers. This role is a combination of strategy, writing, operations, and planning for web & video content, blogs, whitepapers, presentations, and more that demonstrate the value proposition of Amazon Global Selling solutions.

A successful candidate will need be able to both see the big picture and be able/willing to execute tasks rapidly. The ideal candidate has proven success in managing effective marketing campaigns (lead generation, paid search, and app), testing and launching new tactics, measuring results and optimizing performance over time against a clear set of measurable targets.

The position is based in London, working closely with teams in UK and Luxembourg and covering the whole Europe region.

About The Team

The Amazon Global Selling organization in EU works to enable Sellers to leverage Amazon scale and infrastructure to start selling internationally (e.g., EU to US).

Basic Qualifications

  • University degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering or related fields.
  • 6+ years of digital marketing and/or e-commerce experience, with well-developed skills both in content production and in highly quantitative, analytical, and results-driven initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA preferred
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, demonstrated ability to leverage complex data, including customer research and customer feedback, to develop marketing and conversion strategies.
  • Ability to collaborate successfully with internal teams, multiple stakeholders and deliver results.
  • Process-oriented mindset with experience working with and managing external agencies/resources.
  • Comfortable with ‘hands-on’ management of tasks, and proven ability to manage multiple, contending priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience with Free Search optimizations, AdWords (paid search), Social and Digital Advertising.
  • Experience with tools like Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics etc.
  • Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) & CRM systems (e.g. email marketing).
  • Word & Excel proficiency, SQL experience
