DESCRIPTION

Come build the future with us! What unites all Amazonians (across teams and geographies) is that we are all striving to delight our customers and make their lives easier—whomever that customer may be. In pursuit of delighting customers, Amazonians have developed many products and services that have transformed the way our customers live their lives and run their businesses. Together we are building the future, one innovative product, service, and idea at a time. Amazon Ads is dedicated to driving measurable outcomes for brand advertisers, agencies, authors, and entrepreneurs. Our ad solutions—including sponsored, display, video, and custom ads—leverage Amazon’s innovations and insights to find, attract, and engage intended audiences throughout their daily journeys. With a range of flexible pricing and buying models, including self-service, managed service, and programmatic ad buying, these solutions help businesses build brand awareness, increase product sales, and more.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, data-driven Marketing Program Manager to manage our guest-speaker program (GSP) worldwide. The guest-speaker program (GSP) was established in the past years to enrich our advertising education curriculum and to increase the availability of advertising best-practices. The Marketing Program Manager develops a framework to identify content gaps and topic enhancements that can be covered by external and internal guest speakers during webinars, large scale events, and training videos. This involves pioneering and testing new formats to improve advertiser engagement and satisfaction. The Marketing Program Manager will build a pipeline of internal and external guest speakers (partners, agencies, internal teams, advertisers) who co-present live events with our team of Education experts, and enrich the content offering. The Marketing Program Manager will drive program growth in coming years, building bridges with influencers and expanding to this audience. The role coordinates and ensures a robust and consistent traffic strategy for guest-speaker events, partnering with traffic channel owners. The role also owns the co-promotion strategy, using partner-owned channels, and continuously works to launch, define, and measure traffic channels and their effectiveness to maximize customer participation.

The role can be based either in London (UK) or Milan (Italy).

Key job responsibilities

  • Own the global guest-speaker strategy from beginning to end: collect requirements, assess relevancy, coordinate the global launch, and analyze performance to drive continuous program improvement
  • Own the relationship with internal stakeholders and partners to execute the global strategy
  • Expand to influencer guest speakers
  • Build and maintain a marketing plan for the guest-speaker program
  • Work with marketing managers, content creators, and product pods to align on cross-functional team goals
  • Report to management and key stakeholders, and audit results frequently to optimize based on performance

Basic Qualifications

  • 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs using data insights
  • Excellent written and oral level of English
  • Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
  • Proficient PC skills (Windows, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Demonstrated capacity to thrive in a fast-paced workplace and deal with ongoing change and ambiguity
  • Bachelor’s degree in a marketing/business/engineering-related discipline

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building professional relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Experience in creating interview-based content such as podcasts, vlogs and other formats
  • Familiarity with search advertising
  • Advanced analytical skills (SQL)
