For this opportunity, the Amazon Returnship Programme welcomes Returners with previous experience in forecasting, demand planning, financial analysis or similar to apply.

To apply you must be living in, and have the right to work full time in London and be available to start working fulltime in the Returnship Programme if your application is successful.

This role is responsible for package volume planning for Amazon Hub EU markets and will apply planning, modeling, and financial techniques across many products and go to market channels.

Key job responsibilities

  • Lead annual and quarterly planning processes, volume forecasting, reporting, and business analyses to guide growth of the Hub business, collecting business requirements from internal and external customers.
  • Lead analytical deep dives, performance reporting, and variance analyses
  • Drive strategic initiatives, engaging with finance, product management, business intelligence, engineering, and launch partners across operations and tech to scope and build new processes and systems.

Basic Qualifications

  • Unemployed or Underemployed for 12 months or more
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Experience of finance, planning, or business leadership
  • Experience with financial analysis or modeling
  • Working knowledge of SQL
  • Advanced Excel

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA/MS
  • Verbal and written communication skills with a demonstrated experience engaging and influencing senior executives.
  • Leadership background in business management, retail operations or financial analysis with a proven history of owning/driving results
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss strategic business concepts, manage tradeoffs and evaluate opportunistic new ideas.
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects and programs.
