The Amazon Fire TV team is seeking a Senior Product Marketing manager with extensive marketing experience to drive sales and marketing strategy and implementation to scale Fire TV international expansion and to unlock new demand generation levers across Europe. An ideal candidate is comfortable working both at the strategic level and diving deep into implementation as needed (including setting up promotions, writing business proposals and analyzing data). This role will work closely with global and local sales, merchandising, and key stakeholder teams, including Offline Sales, In-Stock, Demand Planning, and Appstore teams, to develop new programmatic sales levers and opportunities for Fire TV across channels. A successful candidate will be comfortable working in cross-functional environments to deliver results and can showcase high ownership to help contribute to a high-energy, high-performance culture.

This position is open for both London and Luxembourg.

Key job responsibilities

  • Understand the long-term vision of Fire TV business, own and drive the sales and marketing strategy for Fire TV international expansion.
  • Act as the primary contact for the demand forecast, demand generation, and promotional planning for Fire TV International locales with cross-functional teams, including product development, demand planning, in-stock, finance, retailers, merchandising, and advertising. You are business owner in developing and executing a multi-year strategy to grow the Fire TV business.
  • Establish a mechanism and develop a scalable playbook to uncover new demand generation levers in established countries across EU and UK; lead with a programmatic approach to generate a strategic testing plan working with key partner teams internally and externally, such as B2B, Prime, Prime Video, Alexa, and App partners.
  • Operate both strategically and tactically with a proven track record of thinking big to drive new opportunities, diving deep in data to uncover customer insights, and maintaining operational excellence within your products and with colleagues across Amazon.
  • Perform complex analysis, create business driving documents to surface key insights and recommendation and maximize Fire TV sales growth and efficiency.

Basic Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex and highly visible projects liaising with cross-functional teams at Amazon
  • Significant experience in dealing with ambiguity, proven track record of successfully delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment
  • Sound business judgment, strong ownership with ability to influence others, and strong analytical thinking skills Demonstrated ability to manage complex and highly visible projects
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills in English, proven ability to influence others in cross-functional teams
  • A proven idea generator and builder, with a strong sense of accountability, and a keen focus on delivering great customer experiences and strong, measurable results. Prioritize effectively in a fast-changing environment, invent and simplify, and communicate clearly and persuasively.
  • Demonstrated success in data intensive quantitative analysis and recommendations
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and feature concepts
  • Proven ability to deliver against both shorter term tactical and long-term priorities
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
  • Be comfortable getting hands dirty to get things done

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA degree preferred
  • High-technology consumer products marketing
