Job Summary

DESCRIPTION

As a Build and Release Engineer, you will engage with an experienced cross-disciplinary team to develop home security devices and services.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about leveraging automation and innovation, with experience in machine learning pipelines.

You will work closely with an internal team and outside partners to build highly stable and scalable solutions, automate away manual processes and design and deploy pipelines enabling Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment principles.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field

Experience developing automation for deploying and managing services and their underlying infrastructure via contemporary programming/scripting languages, configuration management tools, and APIs

Experience working with large distributed systems or applications

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field

Experience working in IOT and deploying scalable backend services

Experience with working on AWS services (SageMaker, S3, DynamoDB, EC2, Kinesis, SQS, IAM)

Experience with imperative and/or declarative configuration management and deployment tools (Cloudformation, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Terraform, etc.)

Experience with AWS CI/CD products such as CodeDeploy, CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeCommit or comparable solutions such as Jenkins, Github, Tekton, etc.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Strong data analysis and debugging skills
