Job Summary

DESCRIPTION

The Amazon Shipping Business organization is looking for a Sr. Salesforce Administrator to help build the next evolution of tools within our Salesforce.com (SFDC) environment. In this role, you’ll invent solutions on Salesforce platform and Marketing Automation (Pardot) technology stack to deliver an enhanced overall CRM experience.

You will operate independently as well as in partnership with Product Managers, Business Operations and key stakeholders for requirement gathering, solutions consulting, and implementation of new feature-sets. Your technical skill-set and teamwork capabilities will be a key contributor to successfully launching global-scale features in Salesforce.com and beyond as part of our larger CRM roadmap.

The ideal candidate must possess the ability to understand business requirements and processes, and translate these into innovative solutions that are highly usable, scalable, extensible, and maintainable. This candidate must be an expert in the full suite of Salesforce tools, including the Marketing Automation platform Pardot. Experience integrating Salesforce utilizing the AWS suite of services is preferred.

Key job responsibilities

  • Partner with product owners to deliver tailored Salesforce / Marketing Automation solutions that support business requirements, create a superlative user experience, and drive tangible business value
  • Perform technical analysis, level-of-effort estimation, design, development, and implementation of applications with necessary customization and integration
  • Drive organizational standards for operational excellence and resiliency.
  • Establish strong relationships with internal partners and peer stakeholders to understand and meet their needs while operating existing systems at a high quality
  • Develop and maintain a culture of innovation and operational efficiency in the team.
  • Pro-actively identify opportunities to leverage Salesforce.com in innovative ways to improve existing business processes, increase rep productivity, and support an organization scaling at a rapid pace
  • Learn and adapt to Amazon internal builder tools and native AWS technology
  • Hands-on configuration of new and existing Salesforce.com features including user management, roles/profiles, permission sets, custom objects, new page layouts, custom fields, formula fields, validations, workflows rules, email templates, Flows, Lightning Pages, custom metadata types, custom settings

Basic Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce configuration and development, including security model configuration, automation, and custom configuration
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or related field
  • Experience in building complex, scalable and high-performance software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers
  • Verbal/written communication skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams.
  • Understanding of broader systems engineering concepts including data structures, data modeling, database schemas, 3P solutions integration
  • Salesforce and Pardot Admin certifications

Preferred Qualifications

  • In-depth understanding of the capabilities and constraints of the Salesforce.com application architecture coupled with good knowledge of business processes (Sales, Marketing, Operations, etc.)
  • Experience launching Salesforce CPQ
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
  • Demonstrated success in leading full life-cycle Salesforce.com implementations
  • Salesforce Application Architect Certification
  • Salesforce Systems Architect Certification
  • Platform Developer II certification
