The Freevee team’s mission is to be the best in free, ad-supported streaming by putting our customers first and innovating through relevant premium entertainment and advertising experiences. On Freevee, customers watch thousands of hit movies, shows, Freevee Originals produced by Amazon Studios, and live 24/7 entertainment channels daily.

Our design team is growing and we’re looking for a Senior Product Designer who leads by doing, has a passion for solving problems at scale and brings their best self to work everyday. You will work closely with a small team of designers, engineers, and product managers to develop new and delightful ad supported experiences for the Freevee ecosystem, delivered across the most popular connected device platforms (Fire TV, Roku, Apple TV, iOS). Our team’s primary focus is providing new, exciting ways for customers to discover and enjoy premium content, in addition to unlocking new opportunities for advertising on Amazon, providing brands (big and small) with a place to tell their story.

Key job responsibilities

What you will do

  • Collaborate and partner with other designers and design leadership to evangelize the quality, coherence, and raise the bar of design across platforms, and brand touch-points
  • Work with partners, research, product leads and engineers to identify opportunities and deliver strategic design experiences that exceed customer expectations
  • Bring strong, user-centered design skills and business knowledge to translate conceptual ideas into exceptional design solutions at scale
  • Produce beautifully crafted design artifacts like: personas, wireframes, process flows, high-fidelity comps, prototypes and videos to test, evangelize and deliver your ideas
  • Dive deep into experience pain points, think big, and advocate and invent on behalf of the customer.
  • Work closely with others in the broader advertising and digital services organizations to deliver results across shared goals.
  • Partner with engineers, program managers, sales, and product managers to design and build first-class customer and advertiser experiences from the ground up.

Basic Qualifications

  • An available online portfolio
  • 8+ years design experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • BFA/BA/BS degree in Design (e.g., interaction, graphic, visual communications, product, industrial), HCI, CS or a related field or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience designing and building mobile and/or web applications or other software.
  • Fluency in best practices for information architecture, interaction design, user-centered design processes, and user experience principles.
  • Demonstrated high bar for visual design aesthetics.
  • Experience designing for TV/connected device (Fire TV, Roku, Apple TV) interfaces.
  • Relentless desire for innovation, balanced with business needs, and customer expectations.
  • Excellent communication skills, strong project management skills
  • Ability and bias to work collaboratively with other creative, technical, and business-minded professionals.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to build trust quickly amongst peers and leadership.
  • Experience designing for user research, and iterative experimentation.
  • Experience analyzing experiment results and formulating actionable recommendations.
