Job Summary

DESCRIPTION

Amazon is seeking a Senior Tax Analyst, Transfer Pricing to focus on Amazon’s related party transactions in the EMEA consumer business.

Amazon’s transfer pricing team works globally to manage all aspects of the Group’s inter-company arrangements, including planning, compliance and controversy.

Key job responsibilities

  • Developing, executing and maintaining the company’s inter-company transfer pricing policies across multiple businesses and countries;
  • Assisting with tax audits, APAs and other tax authority engagement;
  • Working with internal finance teams to collect and analyze relevant data & information, presenting outputs to senior stakeholders;
  • Reviewing transfer pricing documentation reports;
  • Analyzing business launches and strategies to identify TP risks or requirements;
  • Supporting M&A integration;

Preferred locations are London and Luxembourg.

A day in the life

You will partner directly with various business teams and with other members of the global tax department at all levels of the organization to understand transfer pricing needs and develop appropriate policies and intercompany arrangements.

You will work with the broader transfer pricing team to ensure consistency, drive process simplification as well as manage and work with outside advisers to ensure appropriate documentation.

Basic Qualifications

  • Multiple years of Transfer Pricing experience in public accounting, consulting or multinational firms;
  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting or related field;

Preferred Qualifications

  • Comfortable applying & implementing International Transfer Pricing Laws and Regulations across the EU
  • Experience in or advising US HQ multinational corporations;
  • Understanding of accounting and economic concepts;
  • Comfortable with working with IT systems in order to extract, analyze, and review data and make appropriate recommendations;
  • Detail-oriented individual who is self-motivated and takes ownership of projects; and
  • Able to work in a dynamic, fast paced, informal, often ambiguous and rapidly changing business environment.
