The Senior Manager, EU DSP Planning will be building and leading a team that owns the development and deployment for capacity planning. They will be responsible for forecasting and allocating capacity for Delivery Service Partner (DSP) volume. These forecasts will enable third party vendors to produce the vehicles, uniforms, devices and other services required to hit that capacity plan. They will also be responsible for constant product improvement to ensure DSPs are set up and able to flex-up/down in-line with AMZL capacity demands. The leadership of the team works as gatekeepers of any decisions made to change the network level DSP plans to optimize for short-term and long-term capacity, cost, and DSP experience. The leader is expected to influence teams and provide the right push back if any local optimization leads to overall negative DSP or capacity impact

Key job responsibilities

Leads, directs, supervises and controls the execution of all business, fiscal and administrative functions of the assigned program.

Comfortable in different roles, sometimes supporting, sometimes leading.

Is capable of taking accountability and driving planning, resolution and execution with their team.

Responsible for delivering capacity plans and models for all planning cycles.

Responsible for defining and measuring internal performance standards

Monitors and reports on the progress of all activity within the program area.

Basic Qualifications

  • Master’s level degree, numerate subjects, and / or MBA from a top School.
  • Results-oriented, makes things happen, ability to move fast, innovate and simplify
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, with the tenacity to develop ideas independently to take ownership.
  • Experiences in Supply Chain / Transportation or related environment for an International company.
  • People management experience and strong leadership skills, with experience managing people and building teams
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication.
  • Strong data manipulation background and works with numbers on a daily basis and experience with analyzing big data sets
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment with a proven track record for delivering results on large, cross functional, international milestone projects
  • Familiarity with supply chain management and transportation concepts : forecasting, planning, optimization, logistics, delivery performance, carrier negotiation, inventory management, S&OP
  • Experience of SQL and data-driven decision-making skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong drive for results, with the ability to manage independently and take calculated risks
  • Ambitious self-starter with excellent follow-through skills
  • Start-up or P&L management experience
  • Experience communicating and leading proposals at the executive level.
  • Experience influencing multiple stakeholders and leading cross functional teams across geographies and business units
  • Demonstrable, successful, history of defining strategy and executional excellence
