We are responsible for end to end processing of impressions, views, clicks as well as video interaction events or rich media events in ads.

Our data must always be the fastest, most high-fidelity data as it is both billable, critical to checking the heartbeat of a campaign and changes made to it during its lifecycle.

In this role you will have the freedom (and encouragement) to experiment, improve, invent, and innovate under the team domain – Data!.

Candidates for this position should have experience in developing distributed systems, strong technical ability, great communication skills, and motivation to achieve results in a fast-paced environment.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems
  • Non-internship professional software development experience
  • Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4+ years of industry experience in software development, data engineering, with a track record of manipulating, processing, and extracting value from large datasets
  • 4+ year’s experience using big data technologies (Hadoop, Hive, Hbase, Spark, EMR, etc.)
  • Experience taking a leading role in building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers
  • Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
  • Experience influencing software engineers’ best practices within your team
  • Experience with various messaging systems, such as SQS, Kinesis, Kafka or RabbitMQ
  • Experience with NoSQL databases, such as Couchbase, HBase, etc.
  • A desire to work in a collaborative, intellectually curious environment.
