Job Responsibilities:

  • Where required, perform as a finance business partner relating to each relevant business area, identifying improvements and providing challenge to the business. Proactively identify areas of cost leakage within the current operation and assist the company in rolling out a program of continuous improvement to advance IAG Cargo’s efficiency. Actively seek out explanations for the root-causes in fluctuations to the cost base against a variety of comparable; including forecasts, budgets and prior years.
  • Support the ‘AGC investment cases, ensuring proposals have all the necessary information and trigger behind them for the business to make an informed decision, where required.
  • Guarantee an appropriate and robust financial control environment, from posting journals to balance sheet reconciliations. Act as a promoter of “Smart Spending” across the company, by encouraging a culture of responsible decision making
  • Adhere to all corporate, statutory and regulatory requirements including Group Standing Instructions, Group Financial Standing Instructions, Financial Reporting Standards and International Accounting Standards
  • Actively build and maintain strong relationships with finance and non-finance colleagues at all levels across IAG Cargo, British Airways, Iberia, Aer Lingus, Level, GBS
