Job Description:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support the Commercial Operation Lead with the development of the Bank’s, Source-to-Contract and P2P capability,
  • Responsible for supporting the Supplier Management Lead with the design and implementation of the Bank’s Supplier Management Framework,
  • Support the Business Partners with the uploading of sourcing projects on the Bank’s procurement system,
  • Assist the Business Partners and the Bank’s stakeholders with sourcing governance and reporting,
  • Provide admin support to the Business Partners concerning bid clarifications, evaluations and award decisions.
  • Assisting with professional standards and procedures around the management of Bank suppliers,
  • Work creatively with the Lead to analyse data and translate it into meaningful insight reporting,
  • Support the team in implementing organisational change in the context of supplier management.
  • Facilitate the Procurement Helpdesk to support stakeholders with e-procurement system flows and governance,
  • Responsible for supporting the Commercial Policy Lead with providing commercial policy support to internal stakeholders,
  • Conducting supplier & industry best practice/benchmarking exercises and providing analytical support,
  • Support the Lead with development and implementation of the sustainable procurement strategy for the Bank.
  • On boarding of suppliers on the Banks’ procurement systems,
  • Support the Lead in the development and implementation of reporting and dashboard for the Procurement Management Team and wider stakeholders.

Job Requirements:

  • Managing and fielding stakeholders’ procurement and payment queries
  • Gathering of research such as market intelligence
  • Assisting on the delivery of data analytics and its translation into meaningful insights for the Procurement Team and the Bank’s various stakeholders to inform strategies and reports
  • Ensuring and auditing procurement activities for compliance with the Bank’s policies
  • Assistance on sourcing and tender activities
  • Supporting supplier and contract management data collection

Qualification & Experience:

  • Strong communication; verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • Strong customer focus with a drive to provide a valued service.
  • Good planning and organisational skills.
  • Good stakeholder management skills
  • Knowledge of procurement and its processes would be beneficial, but not essential
  • A positive, ‘can do’ attitude, good work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Appreciation of working in a political environment and an ability to understand and respond to different perspectives.
  • Interest in pursuing a career in procurement
