Junior Process Analyst

As a Barclays Process Optimisation Analyst, you will be at the heart of our ability to analyse the requirements to develop, monitor and maintain the process lifecycle of all user requests raised within the Group Technology Infrastructure Services (GTIS) area of the business. You will be instrumental in supporting the GTIS Enterprise Infrastructure team driving a comprehensive approach to continuously monitor process effectiveness leveraging KPIs, reporting, feedback, and team dashboards.

Hybrid Working

We are currently in the early stages of implementing a hybrid working environment, which means that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. Depending on your team, typically this means that colleagues spend a minimum of between 20% to 60% of their time in the office, which could be over a week, a month or a quarter. What will you be doing?

• Supporting the team to create and manage the new process lifecycle for user requests which are not incidents within GTIS
• Reviewing existing processes and assessing against the best practices
• Supporting the Process Optimisation lead to create new processes using templates after performing gap analysis and remediate processes across the engineering teams
• Piloting the new process along with testing, tuning and training the users around the same
• Delivering governance process to continuously monitor process effectiveness

What We’re Looking For

• Excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills, ability to multi-task and demonstrate flexible thinking
• Proven record of providing advice and influencing members of management, the ability to quickly establish credibility operating across all levels of the organisation
• Ability to manage global team meetings to drive requirements gathering for day-to-day incident management processes, and willingness to consistently drive globalisation
• Ability to coordinate process development / training with external teams and providers, distil complex issues to clear and concise briefings for management

Skills That Will Help You In The Role

• Knowledge of data analysis using excel
• Knowledge of the recovery processes

Where will you be working?

You will be based in Radbroke, Knutsford. The Barclays Technology Campus just outside Manchester is our tech command centre and a vital strategic powerhouse behind our global operations. The campus is set in a 64 acre self-contained site, in a beautiful green environment and it offers unrivalled facilities for work and for play.
