Structured Rates Project Manager

As a Barclays Structured Rates Project Manager, your role will be to manage Execution Risk effectively, deliver on our Group strategy and deliver our initiatives consistently and transparently for our stakeholders. Project and Programme Managers apply the right processes, tools, methods and skills to manage the delivery of a project from business case through to closure, ensuring consistent focus on front to back business outcomes and target value proposition.

What will you be doing?

  • Managing the Structured Products MGI project delivery that will ensure on-time, effective delivery of front to back (F2B) outcomes
  • Creating, management and ownership of detailed reporting on the Structured Rates Book of Work
  • You will be responsible for governance and oversight – follow the framework for implementation, working with the Accountable Executive
  • Determining, monitoring and managing the project workforce and financial requirements, liaising with product and service delivery
  • Ensuring that planned outputs deliver the agreed outcomes and that the outcomes remain relevant
  • Providing and regularly reviewing an honest, transparent assessment of the project status and RAID
  • Maintaining focus on managing delivery risks proactively to improve the likelihood, frequency and scale of successful outcomes.
  • Acting in partnership with the Accountable Executive (AE), Trading, sales and Business Managers

What We’re Looking For

  • Project/Programme management and Change Delivery experience
  • Ability to master and navigate new subject domains quickly
  • Excellent Stakeholder Management skills
  • Excellent Communication Skills – both verbal and written (emails/presentations)

Skills That Will Help You In The Role

  • Macro business experience gained in a previous change, business management or middle office role
  • Rates product experience across Cash and Derivatives (Bonds, IR Swaps, Options, Structured Rates, Options)
  • Product and/or Business Analysis experience
