Compliance Technology Business Analyst

As a Barclays Compliance Technology Business Analyst, you will be joining Compliance Technology team. We develop frameworks to allow Compliance Officers worldwide to prevent and resolve conduct issues. As a Barclays Compliance Technology Business Analyst you will be instrumental in implementing the digitization agenda across Compliance. You will be driving the simplification and automation of various Compliance customer journeys such as personal account dealing, licensing & registrations, etc.

What will you be doing?

• Capturing the product visions from business stakeholders; articulate the enhancements required and corresponding business benefit which will be realized
• Documenting business requirements /user stories, prepare and executing testing scripts and manage implementation activities.
• Partnering with our Compliance stakeholders to capture the product visions, enhancements and help Compliance realize the benefits of self-serve and automation
• Ensuring seamless understanding of business requirements by the technology delivery team throughout development and user acceptance testing cycles.
• Collaborating with senior management and stakeholders to prioritise and manage successful delivery of a leading edge product that satisfies our business needs.
• Establishing effective working relationships with key stakeholders and sponsors within global business units and delivery
• Driving and defining comprehensive documentation, including business requirements/stories, process flow diagrams and management / project status reporting.
• Managing user acceptance testing, which includes authoring test cases, executing the initial test cycle, coordinating the testing with the business users, etc

What We’re Looking For

• Solid experience of working as an Agile Business Analyst on large scale Technology change initiatives ideally within financial services
• Proven experience of working in Agile methodologies and deep practical knowledge of business analysis tools including JIRA and Confluence
• Functional knowledge of SQL and relational databases e.g. PSQL, Oracle.
• Deep understanding of business case building and benefits realisation.

Skills That Will Help You In The Role

• Professional Business Analysis certifications desirable.
• Professional Agile certifications desirable.
• Technology / Computer Science background desirable
